My name is Victor Villarroel. I am an Eagle Scout candidate and Senior Patrol Leader in Troop 702 in Reading, Massachusettes, leading the creation of a composting station at my former elementary school, Birch Meadow. I hope to reduce the impact of unfortunate daily compostable food waste that occurs at our school. I aim to do this by create a system to facilitate the sorting and collection of compost to make it a fluid process for the kids and custodial / kitchen staff.
