APRIL 1ST GOAL!!!!
ATTN: white folks (all classes) & upper-class folks
NEED: $42,000 - Folks will not be able to move into the home until the funds are secured. Having the funds before move-in allows for a secure and stable housing situation.

- Rent & Utilities: + $1275
- Community Investment (this will go into an escrow where the house will decide on how to best implement these funds towards their rest & joy): + $100
- Total w/o Mutual Aid = $1375 a month
- Mutual Aid (approx. 64% of monthly costs) = -$875
- Total with Mutual Aid = $500 monthly cost for BIPOC Femmes

Share this Information: Please share this link with everyone you know! QR Code is available.
Mutual Aid Investment: Invest with any quantity
Long Term Commitment : Committed white and upper-class folks who are interested in providing resources and financial support for an extended period of time (5 years) for four BIPOC femmes.
Commitment expectations:
A contribution to the $42,000 a year goal for a minimum of five years
Ability to attend meetings (virtual till the pandemic subsides) with folks living in the house to discuss goals, progress, house needs, etc. (frequency TBD)
Assistance in the planning of yearly fundraising
Please fill out the linked google form if you are interested in taking on this long-term commitment. A larger conversation will be had with folks interested about the details of the home, the homeowners, and plans beyond the 5 years.
Intention: To facilitate an environment where four BIPOC femmes are able to accumulate and generate health & wealth. The yearly amount fundraised will go towards the yearly rent for a home so that these four individuals can develop their craft, art, business, save money, pay off debt, etc. Each individual will create a plan for their own desired financial outcomes. The crowdfunded amount cover’s a portion of the rent, offering relief from paying market-rate rental prices, and providing the stability to grow in ways that the market rates and habitual displacement for BIPOC femmes does not allow.
The House: I believe that BIPOC femmes deserve l u x u r y (however their version of that exists for them). This is about taking up space and claiming our birthright to the finer things. With that being said this is NOT your typical scrappy-ass gentrified home that has D-Grade materials installed and has not been loved and cared for. This home has been loved, held, blessed, prayed, cooked, and danced in by a Mestiza woman of Quechua descent.
Keeping in mind the future safety of the Femmes who will inhabit the home, details on the home will be shared only with applicants and those interested in a long-term commitment to investing in the Femmes.
NEXT STEPS: Once the funds are raised, applications to get in the house will be publicized!
