Billy Fowler-Final Expenses & Family Relocation

Hi Friends,

Billy Fowler, brother, friend, beloved son, father, grandfather, and diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, was taken from us far too soon. We are heartbroken and reeling from how quickly his illness took him from this earth. He had been sick many times before and always bounced back, but this time he didn't and we are broken.

I will miss his smile, his humor, his generosity, and his kindness. I will miss eating TexMex and drinking Margaritas with him, hanging out on Broadway in Nashville (especially the John Stone Band at Kid Rocks), dancing, and listening to country music. I will miss hearing his voice when he called and said "Hey Sis, what's going on?" I'm sure many of you can relate to exactly what I'm saying and what we all are feeling.

Now, the reality of the situation is here. We are working with two funeral homes to care for him - one here in Phoenix, where he passed away, and another in San Antonio, where he will be buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. There is so much to do and so many surprise expenses.

We're also working to move his Mom and granddaughters to North Las Vegas so they can be close to me and my husband, Jim, so that we can care for them, something he was adamant about.

I'm sure you can imagine all the costs involved in such an undertaking - transporting him from Phoenix to San Antonio, funeral home expenses, driving from Phoenix to North Las Vegas, finding a home, deposits, rent, and so, so much more. To say I'm a bit overwhelmed with it all is an understatement, but I have honored and will continue to honor my brother's wishes.
