Hi, my name is Gabriel Phan. I am the nephew of William "Bill" Phan, I am trying to start this fundraiser for him to cover for his medical expenses and other expenses along the way. On March 23,2023 I found out from my Uncle that he has developed Stage 4 Colon Cancer and it has spread to his liver and lungs. While still holding a job he has been going in for treatment (chemotherapy) which invloves blood drawing and wearing a pump for for 46 hours. Bill used to be a personal trainer and always worked to help other people excel in keeping their mind and body in good spirits. Recently, I found out that he has been kicked out of the place he was staying at in Chicago, Illinois and is trying to reach his children in Texas. My Uncle is a shining light in my life, when I was young he was able to bring so much joy and happiness to me when my grandmother had passed and truly be there for me when I needed him most. What I am trying to do here is bring some peace and stability to his life with everything going on and hopefully bring him some happiness. He was there for me when I needed him most and I want to be there for him in any way possible.
