A man who has dedicated his entire life to helping others now needs our help.

Bill has worked at the local RONA/Timbermart/Mahood’s Lumber for almost 30 years.

For years, he has been the person people could count on. Whether it was helping a neighbor, volunteering his time, fixing something that needed fixing, offering a kind word, or simply being there when someone needed support, he has touched countless lives with his generosity and compassion. If you've lived in Kincardine/Ripley/Point Clark for any length of time, chances are Bill has helped you or someone you know.

Any time, I mention Bill’s name in conversation I get ‘oh I love that man! He helped me with….’

There are some people who leave a lasting impact on a town simply by showing up, lending a hand, and asking for nothing in return. That is exactly who Bill is.

Today, Bill is facing one of the biggest challenges of his life: cancer diagnosis. At this time, all that is known is he has a brain tumour and metastatic lung cancer.  As he focuses on treatment and recovery, the financial and emotional burdens are weighing heavy.

Now it's our turn to give back to someone who has given so much to all of us.
