Bill and Brenda Smith

Bill and Brenda Smith have impacted countless lives during their time teaching and serving at Tri-State Christian Academy (formally Elkton Christian Academy). Over the course of 20 years, Bill has served as the school's Athletic Director, Head Basketball Coach, and has taught Bible, P.E., Health and many other classes along with aiding the athletic program by driving the school bus. Brenda has taught Science, Health, and P.E. for every grade in the school (K-12). In addition to this, she has also coached cheerleading and softball for many years.

Aside from their obvious contribution to the school's academic and athletic growth, their most treasured rolls were as mentors, colleagues and friends. The relationships that Bill and Brenda have cultivated over the years are priceless to them. Every student, teacher, coach or parent that has worked alongside the Smiths, has benefitted from their love and generosity.

Bill and Brenda have served TSCA with the sole purpose of giving glory to Jesus Christ by being His hands and feet to those around them. They have lived lives of servanthood by continuously putting the needs of others above their own in order that those they care for may see the love of Jesus.

Much to their dismay, Tri-State Christian Academy has decided to terminate their contracts. Aside from the emotional toll that this decision has taken on Bill and Brenda, it has also created a substantial financial burden for them. In addition to a request for faithful prayer, Bill and Brenda's children are asking for monetary donations to be made to help cover the costs of bills as well as medical expenses during this season of unemployment.
