FOOD IS OUT OF REACH FOR MANY
Please click on the attached link and take a moment to watch the "Out of Reach" video above.
It’s always good to do the right thing.
And for me, the right thing is helping people in the community. That’s why starting June 27th, I am embarking on a 2,680-mile journey across the United States with Apogee Adventures. I have decided to use this 47-day journey as a platform to raise money and help people in my community who deal with hunger. The Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation is made up of an amazing group of people whose mission is to ensure “no one has to choose between dinner and rent.” We all have choices to make and I have been fortunate that I have not had to deal with food insecurity issues that many people in my community deal with daily. My goal is to raise money from the various towns and cities throughout Food Lion’s 10-state footprint and then at the end of my bike journey in mid-August take the money collected and donate to the foundation on behalf of all of you! I cannot do this alone and need your help. Donate what you can during any part of my trip and I will be sure to give final proceeds to the Food Lion Feeds Foundation.
This is your chance to help your neighbors in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Delaware, Maryland, Tennessee and Pennsylvania.
Thank you.
