Hey everyone! For those who don't know me, my name is John and bikes are my favorite thing in the whole dang world. In August 2024, I embarked on a 3000 mile bike tour down the East Coast across nearly 2 months. I'm back at it again, trying to raise money for another bike tour! There are two big changes from last time:

• This time I'm riding with a buddy, my girlfriend Cathy
• I've scaled things back from my East Coast Tour, down to about 390 miles and 1 week

We're planning on 7 days of riding around the northeast, starting in Boston, hitting Providence, going over to Hartford, riding through Springfield, up to Manchester, then back to Boston. In total, it should come to about 390 miles.

For each mile we ride, we'd each like to raise $1. We're fundraising for Bikes Not Bombs, a local nonprofit in Boston who use the bicycle to help empower people in the Boston area and the Global South. They're a truly wonderful organization who I've worked with and fundraised for many times.

We each want to raise $1/mile we ride, which starts us at $780. If we manage to stretch that to $3, maybe $4/mile, maybe I'll do something fun like ride shirtless on the last day. We'll see...
