Bike Ride for Black Lives 2022
In 2020, Bike Ride for Black Lives was created to unite communities and ride in solidarity against systemic injustices. For the past two years, we have fundraised over $9,000 for national (Equal Justice Initiative, National Museum of African American History and Culture, etc.) and local (CSU’s Black and African American Cultural Center, Ride for Racial Justice, etc.) organizations.
This July, we will again pledge to ride 400 miles (~12 miles a day) in the month of July to honor the 400+ years the Black and African American community has been fighting for social justice in the United States.
Please join us in fundraising for the following organizations who are actively changing history and aiding the Black community, with a specific focus on youth this year. All funds will be distributed evenly to:
Cultural Enrichment Center
Bruton’s Books
JEM Scholarship
Ride for Racial Justice
See the Facebook event page for Bike Ride for Black Lives to get more information for the community event on July 17, 2022 at 9:00am.
Let’s keep the movement going!
