Biggin Hill FC need a Defib

Biggin Hill FC was founded in September 2023 and in a short space of time has grown to over 100 young people and adults playing football at Biggin Hill Rec.

Every week in the UK 19 children and young people suffer a cardiac events during football matches or training.

At present our nearest defibrillator is at Biggin Hill swimming baths, but we consider this too far away if a child is suddenly taken poorly. We are able to purchase a Defib through a charity at the greatly reduced price of £600. This would be fitted to the outside of the pavilion, so anyone at the rec can access it at any time. The precious few minutes saved by having a defibrillator at this location would save a life.
