Hi, Im Kevin and I'm re-opening this fundraiser for my good friend and brother Michael "BIG MIKE" Jackson. In 2024, he started in home dialysis. This coming after an unsuccessful search for a replacement kidney. His health has continued to deteriorate over the years, as he awaited a donor. His wife Lidia has been supporting their beautiful family along the way.
Update.. unfortunately, the potential donor that was going through the final testing stages did not work out. We will not let this stop our efforts! Mike’s search for a donor continues!
Our goal is to raise $50K to help with covering the following costs
- Travel & Accommodations for donor
- Travel & Accommodations for Mike & Lidia(Testing & Surgery)
- Living expenses for 6 weeks for donor(recovery time after saving a life)
- Living expenses for 6 weeks for support person(time off from work to support)
- Living expenses for 3-6 months for Mike & Lidia(needed for Mike's recovery)
Mike is an amazing person that would do anything to support his friends and family. He is always shining bright and remains positive even in this time of need. He is gracious and his love is felt by those around him. We are lucky to have him in our lives.
