Northern Saskatchewan communities have a hope for increased bicycling towards improved holistic health.
Through a Bike Day and basic bike mechanic skills workshop, each community will be provided desired knowledge, and tools and parts, to sustainably support their vision.
The communities of Île-à-la-Crosse, Dillon, Buffalo Narrows, La Loche, Beauval, and Patuanak will be visited May 15 through July 1. It is necessary to raise funding several weeks before to have time to gather the above supplies.
Your quick donation will be appreciated as an understanding of the work required for this project towards supporting bicycling and health in these communities. As you may have experienced, bicycling has the potential to enhance physical, mental, social, and spiritual health.
Through partnerships, your donation goes a long way:
$5 = 1 brake pad replacement set
$10 = 5 brake cable replacements
$20 = 6 tire lever sets
$50 = 10 replacement tire tubes
$125= 1/2 Complete Bicycle Tool Set
