Belfast Housing Solutions – Homelessness Awareness Week Fundraiser for MACS
Homelessness Awareness Week 2025 takes place from Monday 1 December to Sunday 7 December, and is organised annually by Homeless Connect to highlight the reality of homelessness across Northern Ireland. Each year, organisations come together to raise awareness, offer support, and recognise the humanity, dignity and individuality of those facing homelessness. This year’s theme, “See the Person,” encourages us all to look beyond circumstance and remember the people and stories behind the statistics.
Across the Housing Executive, teams are delivering a range of events—from donation drives to educational sessions—to show solidarity and give back to our partners who work tirelessly throughout the year to support vulnerable individuals and families.
As part of this important week, Belfast Housing Solutions (BHSST) are proud to host our annual Coffee Morning & Bake Sale in aid of MACS Young People’s Services on Tuesday 3 December, 10am–11.30am.
MACS provide life-changing support to young people aged 11–25 who are experiencing homelessness, leaving care, or facing other serious challenges in their lives. Their ethos, compassion and dedication closely align with the work we carry out every day, and we are honoured to support them.
Last year, our team came together with incredible generosity—your homemade bakes, donations and kindness made a real difference. This year, we hope to do the same, and with your support, we can help MACS continue providing safe spaces, guidance and hope to young people who need it most.
Whether you donate, share our page, or join us on the day, every act of kindness helps us “See the Person” and make a meaningful impact during Homelessness Awareness Week.
Thank you for supporting our event, our team, and most importantly, the young people supported by MACS.
