Michael's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Earlier this week, our family received the phone call no parent ever wants to get. Our youngest son Michael was on a ventilator in ICU in a hospital in PA. To say the news was grim was an understatement. He was found outside on the ground, unresponsive. He had suffered what his treatment team believe was a massive stroke at the young age of 29. Over the last few days all we can say is signs of some recovery have occurred as he is off the ventilator and breathing on his own. That being said he is still paralyzed on his right side and cannot speak or swallow. He has some memory loss but thankfully he recognizes us. He has a very long and difficult road of recovery ahead. At the very least he will need help getting around and doing activities of daily living. We will also need to modify our home with accessibility features in order to properly care for him. He will need in home services for his daily care after he is finished time in rehab which is further down the road. The medical bills will be extensive as he has been in the ICU for almost a month. We are thankful to God from the bottom of our hearts that our son is still here with us. We love him so much and want to provide as much as we can for him as he will be adjusting to living life with limitations. He is a huge fan of professional wrestling and has been since he was 3 years old: ECW, CZW, ROH, other independent feds and WWE, mostly NXT.
