Beyond Goodbye: Supporting the Milestones Emily Can’t Attend
Donation protected
My name is Sarah, and I am Emily Robertson’s cousin. I’m writing this on behalf of our extended family and those who loved her most.
As a family, we are coming together to support her two incredible children, Drew and Eli, as they navigate life without their mom — not just today, but through all the milestones that lie ahead. This fund is our way of helping ensure Emily’s love and support carries forward into their future.

On May 13, 2025, Emily Robertson passed away unexpectedly. Just one week later, her son Eli graduated from Pedro Menendez High School. What should have been a time of celebration and pride for the family was instead marked by unimaginable loss.
Emily was a devoted mother — steady, supportive, and full of quiet strength, with an unforgettable laugh that could light up any room. She was the kind of parent who showed up for everything: the big days, the hard days, and all the moments in between. She raised two remarkable children.

Drew is a student at the University of Florida, studying General Botany and preparing for a career in healthcare.
"Me and my favorite Gator One of us is a sports obsessed fan who can’t wait for the game tonight and the other is my kid who probably has no idea there is even a game tonight. Go Gators!!"

Eli is set to begin his journey at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University this fall, where he will study Aerospace Engineering on a Presidential Scholarship.

"Drew got Eli tickets and took him to the F1 race in Miami today as his birthday present. My mama heart was full of love watching them head off to “adult” for a weekend. I know nothing of F1 racing but it looks like they had fun!!"
She loved nothing more than cheering on her children, lately watching Eli run cross country, always on the sidelines with pride in her eyes. Eli plans to continue running at Embry-Riddle.

"Senior night track meet for Eli tonight. 7 years of watching my kids run and jump and it’s coming to a close. I could not be more proud of Eli’s accomplishments over the last 4 years and am excited to see what his future holds."
Their academic paths are secure, but it’s the future milestones — the ones every parent dreams of witnessing — that Emily won’t be here for. She won’t be there to cheer them on at college graduations, to help them buy their first homes, to celebrate their weddings, or to offer guidance during life’s most defining moments.
She also won’t be there to continue one of her greatest joys — taking her children on unforgettable adventures around the world. Emily’s adventurous spirit filled Drew and Eli’s childhood with travel and exploration, always wanting them to experience life beyond their backyard. Those memories are treasured, and her absence will be felt deeply in all the meaningful moments still to come.

"My monkeys are very good at entertaining me on adventures ❤️"

This fundraiser is for those moments.
It’s a way to honor Emily’s legacy by helping to build the foundation she would have worked tirelessly to create — a foundation of support, stability, and peace of mind as her children step into adulthood without her by their side.
Your donation helps ensure that Drew and Eli feel her love in the years ahead — not just in memory, but in meaningful ways that carry them forward. Thank you for being part of their journey, and for standing in where she no longer can.
