Electric wheelchair

Hi all, 

I am trying to raise money to fund an electric wheelchair for my friend and neighbor Kohn. His doctor and insurance only allow him to have a standard wheelchair. He cannot walk and has been handicapped from a young age in an accident. He literally rolls himself backwards up and down the streets of ocean beach. Always friendly and always in good spirits but could benefit greatly from some help and support. Something he does not get much of. This guy is an amazing individual and has such a good heart. 

I have made it my goal to help him get electric mobility so he can have the freedom to adventure through his neighborhood and ob with ease. He pushes himself miles backwards nearly every day. In this heat. I can’t even believe his doctor and Medicare have not yet provided him with a power chair. 

Just about anything would be better than what he has now. We are working on helping him get one through medicare but looks like it could take some time and has been a frustrating process. I’m amazed how many people get free money through welfare that don’t even need it and then someone who actually needs it can’t get basic necessities.
