Better Connect play NETBALL!

Better Connect are a not for profit organisation who lead programmes across Yorkshire that aim to connect people to better life opportunities. We are a team of passionate individuals who really want to make a difference.

As a team we like to take on challenges and push ourselves, so we have decided to enter into AVIVA's Charity Sports Day on the 13th June 2025. We will be playing netball against other businesses from Yorkshire (wish us luck!!)

All proceeds from the event and fundraising will go to two amazing York based mental health charities, Menfullness and Kyra Womens Project.

Kyra – a local charity run by women, for women, to improve wellbeing and self-esteem, and Menfulness, who bring men together to offer support and break the stigma of talking about mental health.

The proceeds of the day will provide much-needed funding. £160 will fund a 6-session counselling course with Menfulness and £500 will fund 10 sessions of specialist counselling with Kyra.
