When we first created this GoFundMe, the hope was to raise enough money to give Beth and her children some lasting memories together. Things they could hold onto. Moments. Days out. Photos. Time.

Heartbreakingly, that is no longer the case.

Beth’s journey has taken a turn none of us ever wanted to face, and we now need to update this fundraiser so people know where their kindness will go.

From this point forward, donations will be used to help towards Beth’s funeral costs and to support her children in the days, weeks and months ahead.

There is no nice way to write this. There is no gentle way to say that children are having to prepare for a life without their mum. Our hearts are completely broken. It is cruel, it is unfair, and it is something no family should ever have to go through.

Beth deserves a send-off filled with love, dignity and everything she meant to the people who knew her. Her children deserve to be held, supported and protected from as much pressure as possible while their whole world changes around them.

Every single donation, whether big or small, will help ease a little bit of the weight from the family during the worst time imaginable.

My friend Bethany is seriously unwell. She has three small children who desperately need their mum, and right now she is on dialysis for 12 hours a day just to keep her body ALIVE.

Her kidneys are failing her. She is still awaiting both a kidney and pancreas transplant. Nobody knows how long she has left, the specialists cannot be certain. On top of the uncertainty doctors have just told the family that Bethany now faces some UNIMAGINABLE life changing circumstances..

I didn’t even know how to write that without feeling sick to my stomach with tears flooding my eyes.

Bethany doesn’t want anything fancy. She just wants time with her babies. She wants to make memories with them while she still can. Days out, photos, little moments, anything they can hold onto. Her children deserve every single moment with their mother.

We are trying to raise as much money as possible to help Beth spend time with her children, take pressure off the family and mum, cover travel/accessibility needs, and give those babies some extra memories with their mum that they will have forever. We need as many photos of them together as we can collect.
