Berrynarbor Community Pavilion

It started with the seed of an idea... Wouldn't it be nice to have a place for folks to meet up, spend a quiet hour or two playing (or watching) a gentle game of boules. A place where parents can sit awhile as the little ones play on the swings and the bigger ones chase footballs. Somewhere to sit while the dogs race around the dog field, where walkers pause for a well earned rest, or where friends catch up on the latest gossip.

An all weather community pavilion is the brainchild of our very own Seretse Williams. Community means being able to sit together, meet up, relax. A pavilion big enough to sit a good few good folks, and covered enough to shield from sun or shower.

Who was it said, "Build it, and they will come..." ?

All we need is the money to buy one and willing manpower to build it.

How blessed we are then that Berrynarbor village is fit to bursting with the willing and fair to middling with the manpower. And, as we all dream of a field with a pavilion, Seretse is motivating all of us to donate by walking 600+ miles along the SouthWest Coast Path. (I hope everyone has been following his adventure in Berrynarbor Happenings!)

This GoFundMe page has been set up to capture all pledges, donations and contributions in one place. This will be held for the purchase of a pavilion.
