In April 2026, we sadly lost our beautiful baby girl at 40 weeks. She was born sleeping at 40+1 weeks, and during the most heartbreaking time of our lives, we were given the chance to spend precious moments with her in the bereavement suite at the Princess Royal Hospital. The care and compassion shown to us by the incredible team there will stay with us forever.

Many people are fortunate never to know this room exists, but for those who do, it becomes a place of comfort in the darkest of times, a quiet, private space where you can be with your baby and begin to process an unimaginable loss. It truly felt like a home away from home when we needed it most.

We are hoping to give something back by raising funds to support this space and help provide additional items that can make those first and only moments even more meaningful for other families with their special baby.
