The island of Bequia, in St. Vincent & the Grenadines is THE place to be on New Year's Eve, every December 31st, for the Fireworks Show at the stroke of Midnight in beautiful Admiralty Bay. The annual Fireworks show is funded 100 % from donations, as a non-profit entity managed by local volunteers and headed by Sabrina Mitchell. The show is the brainchild of the late Sir James Mitchell, who started the event in the year 2000 to bolster tourism and provide a festive event to ring in the new year with joy and hope. Locals, businesses, visitors and well-wishers donate to cover the cost of the fireworks show. It is truly a non-profit team effort.
Our goal is to raise enough money to cover the show to ensure this wonderful tradition continues in Bequia. Every donation counts large or small. Why not consider being a gold sponsor with a $1000 donation, or a silver sponsor at $500, or a bronze sponsor at $200? With your help, we will make this happen and make the 2025/26 Fireworks show an event to remember.
Our Fireworks technician from Fireworks FX in Nova Scotia, Canada puts on a fabulous show for us every year, and we continue to work with him to produce the event to the highest of standards.
