Be On the Farm project

Happy Village originally arose from a desire to help the Korean-American community, but quickly grew into a program to assist all low-income individuals and others in need across the entire diverse community of Koreatown.

Over the last seven years, Happy Village has focused on cultivating community engagement by connecting people through educational, charitable, and community-building events.

Our newly launched project, Be on the Farm, provides access to knowledge and services geared toward establishing urban farms in the most densely populated area of Los Angeles.  Be on the Farm delivers increased food security and therapeutic gardening opportunities to an underserved population while fostering a connection to the roots of our culture as well as each other.

Be on the Farm believes that it takes a Happy Village to create a healthy community.

*Wood & Materials for raised bed 
*Irrigation system
*Soil & Seeds
*Transportation
*Heavy duty tools  
*Compost bins
*Organic Fertilizer
