Benson Family in Dire Need of Help

So here is the story that most will never believe until it happens to them.

My wife and I left our previous well-paying jobs to become ex-pats to help our children overseas. Everything was in order, from letting things go, downsizing, and giving away our car to a family member. Let's say we ended up in a hotel room with a canceled contract, three passports without reason to use, and maxed-out funds. Even my wife's chance of working with order seas children international remote teaching job was halted.

We ended up living with our inlaws, who treated us like we were failures for even trying to do the unthinkable of going with our goals of helping children. My wife managed to find a job, and we had the funds to start all over. Sadly, the funds were maxed out once again due to the housing crisis and issues of paying for hotel rooms. We had to go into a shelter in hopes of finding a place to stay. Sadly, after a month. We experienced hell, from my wife's job issues to a death in the shelter.

So, we landed back to where we started...

Hotel room after hotel room, no money coming in, and nothing is coming out. My wife sadly got fired from her job because she did not understand our broken situation and stood up for her family. Bad enough, she was just there for two months with nothing to come out of it besides being a sitting duck. The school wasn't finished, and she was wasting time on her dreams of what she was called to do. She wanted to help kids worldwide, along with me becoming a writer and our son experiencing life outside of this country.

So with the money we had, and some from the wedding bands, we had to sell. We ended up in Mobile, Alabama. No income comes in until my wife is settled with a job she just got. A disability claim is hoping to come in for me due to my severe depression and the constant hotel living until it was to the point where we had to sleep in a car.

We feel lost and hopeless as shelters around here are complete, no support from family and friends (which I don't blame them for due to our constant issues at hand), and various forms of dark clouds over us.

All we are asking for in this dark time is a prayer and some donation, if possible, to help us get back on our feet in hopes of putting this unclear timeline behind us.
