Ben’s WWC Boxing for Autism

Hi, my name is Ben and I am fighting on March 29th 2025 at a Welsh White Collar Boxing event in Cardiff.

I am fighting to raise money for an amazing little charity cafe Called One Life Autism based in Ebbw Vale that is run solely on donations and volunteering.

My son, Noah, is asked to go through many challenges daily due to his autism. These challenges include him being put in situations that are out of his comfort zone, daily. These may sound simple to us like going into a shop, walking across the road or even being around groups of people. But to Noah, these situations cause him to feel anxious, worried, scared and out of his comfort zone.

So I believe, if I am asking Noah to do this daily, it is only fair for me to be put out of MY comfort zone and there is no pace I would feel more uncomfortable than a boxing ring in front of hundreds of people. So here I am. Fighting (literally) for a fantastic charity that will help others, like my little Noah, find everyday things become more ‘comfortable’.
