Bens trip to Uganda with the Amigos charity

My name is Ben Witherow and I’m a year 10 pupil at South Molton Community College.

I have been fortunate enough to be selected for a school visit to Uganda in association with the Amigos charity in July 2026. To participate in this event I will be making a contribution to the Amigos charity, who provide vocational training for young adults including in sustainable farming. During our visit we will be staying on Kira farm and working with local schools and undertaking community projects, in previous years this has included helping to build a school, constructing an irrigation system and teaching.
