Hello to all of you kind-hearted people taking the time to read this. I created this fundraiser to help a friend; all funds will go directly to this person, not through me. During the time when the country was essentially shut down due to the COVID pandemic, this benevolent person bailed out a relative (a farmer) from foreclosure using credit. Now that interest rates are rising, the payments are becoming overwhelming. To push things even further, funeral costs for an unexpected death in the family increased the debt. Every possible avenue for debt consolidation has already been explored and they are working three jobs to stay afloat. This person is the type of person who sees other people first --- they even anonymously paid for my hotel costs when I had to go out of state for funerals twice in one summer several years ago (I figured it out after the fact!). They are doing everything possible to handle this debt on their own, but could use the help of giving people like you. Even small amount will add up and help.
