Benefit for Dr. Mike Sardinia

Hello Friends, Neighbors and Prayer Warriors.
Dr. Mike Sardinia is a Friend of many, Neighbor,  Brother, Uncle,  Mentor of life, and a  Professor at Whitworth University of future Doctors, Vets and much more. A volunteer of the mission group Helping Haitians HelpThemselves.  And of course a faithful example of Christ's Love.

On the evening of October 21st 2019, while at home, Dr. Mike suffered a ruptured aneurysm..."As an aneurysm grows it puts pressure on nearby structures and may eventually rupture. A ruptured aneurysm releases blood into the subarachnoid space around the brain."
Dr. Mike experienced paralysis on his left side and Teri called 911 - Dr. Mike was airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane,WA. After a series of tests it was found that he had brain bleed with a large clot and it was putting too much pressure on his brain - pushing the midline - which caused the paralysis.  Doctors decided to aggressively attack the problem and do brain surgery to remove the clot- it was the size of a plum - hopes were to remove at least 80% of it so that there would be a release of pressure on the brain and to give a clearer picture of what is causing the problem and symptoms.
Surgery was October 23rd and went well! Praise God!!! The surgeon was able to remove 80%+ of the clot and was able to see visible brain relaxation. CT scans showed swelling, but that things were back where they should be and that the clot was mostly gone.
On October 28th Dr. Mike was transferred to St. Luke's Rehab in Spokane,  WA; has been doing therapy on a daily basis and shows improvements.  Dr. Mike is frustrated with his progress - still has no sensation on his left side and he really wants to be able to walk. Doctors and therapist assure Teri that he's progressing well.
Things are looking better right now, but there's still more tests, questions, therapies and a long road to recovery ahead of them.  It'll be about a year for full recovery.
In the meantime things still move forward at their farm where they have beautiful Clydesdales and their puppies Ancho and Stitch.  We are attempting to assist them in getting ready for the fast approaching winter and to make things efficient for when Dr. Mike returns home.  We had a work party November 3rd to build some hay sheds and fix some corral fencing. There will be other needs on the farm to make adjustments for Dr. Mike's home coming - date isn't completely set at this time.  In addition to farm needs Dr. Mike and Teri are not working right now - it is unknown when exactly when they will be able to return.
Funds raised for Dr. Mike and Teri Sardinia will assist in making necessary changes for the farm - to make being home a comfortable and doable possibility ... as well as any medical/ therapy bills that will accrue.  Anything above their needs will be donated to a charity of their choosing.

Please pray for the Doctors, Surgeons, Nurses, Specialists and Therapists as well.
Dr. Mike and Teri are more then our neighbors.... they are our dear friends and though they are not "blood relatives" they are like family. Our girls love and adore them - and their animals - The Sardinia's have been there for us through some rough times and I know many of you have also experienced their love and friendship. Please keep them in your prayers.
