One of our beloved Detroit dj's BLAAQGOLD (Trevor) had an unforeseen accident and we are calling on community for support.

On March 26th, what started as an adventurous day at an indoor rock climbing gym ended in an unforeseen tragedy. A fall from 20 feet above ground left him with a fractured heel and ankle in his left leg and a broken right knee. The physical toll of these injuries is immense, not only confining him to a bed but also stripping away his ability to engage in his passion and main source of income—performing DJ sets.

Performing is not just a job for him; it’s a way of life. If you know BLAAQGOLD, you know he connects with the world through music and sharing stories through song and he has been blessed to make a living doing so.

Unfortunately, doctors have made it clear that the road to recovery will be long and arduous, predicting at least two months before he can even begin to walk again.

We’re reaching out to our community for help. The journey ahead includes not just restrengthening his legs and learning to walk again but hospital bills, physical therapy, necessary living adjustments to accommodate his newfound mobility issues and the lost income during this period where he is unable to perform.
