This fundraiser is to help with the costs of Ben's medical bills, Flight for Life & ambulance rides, physical therapy, etc. In case you hadn't heard, several of us close friends were camping up at Devil's Head Campground on August 3rd and a 100 ft. tall dead aspen tree fell on our tent. We had all just gotten ready to start playing a game in the tent, but 5 of us had to go to the restroom first. While we were up there we heard a super loud crack and then a huge crash. The tree hit Ben and he was life flighted to the hospital with two spine fractures, broken ribs, and a fractured skull. This resulted in him having no feeling or function in his body from his mid-chest down. Two others were in the tent at the time but were not badly injured. A cot literally saved Ben's life. It somehow caught the tree enough to stop it from going all the way to the ground where Ben was sitting. We are thanking God things weren't any worse than it was, because it definitely could have been. All 8 of us could have been in there... Please please please keep Ben in your prayers.
