Ben & Esther's Dream: A Safe Foster Home

Hi! We are Ben and Esther Wissell. We fell in love and got married in 2006. We both came from large families and hoped to follow suit, but the babies never came. After many years passed, we decided to get medical advice, only to have our deepest fears confirmed- it could never be.

Right before covid, we purchased an old dairy farm. We fixed up one of the outbuildings into a shop and started Son Rise Repair. We hoped to fix up the old farmhouse, only to realize that it is really past saving. Our desire is to pursue foster care, and provide love and support to families and children in need. But in order to do that, we have to have a safe home to welcome them to. Thanks for any support whether through prayer, financially or your friendship. We are eternally grateful!

Esther's sister Nikki:

We are looking to raise the $40K that is needed for Ben and Esther to secure a downpayment for a construction loan for them to build a house so that they are able to start their ministry of fostering children. They have done so much for all of those around them, including but not limited to: Caring for anyone's children at the drop of a hat for any need, fixing anyone's vehicles who need help, and just being there in such a selfless way that is hard to match.

Ben and Esther love the Lord and have longed for nearly 20 years to be parents and raise children for God. So far, this has not happened. There are so many thousands of children waiting for a Daddy and Mommy, love and a place to call home. Ben and Esther are anxiously awaiting those children with open, longing arms!
