There are people in life who make an impact so deep that you never imagine the day they won’t be here. Katie was this person for so many. Her smile would instantly light up a room and she would make anyone's day brighter. She was kind to everyone and had a beautiful soul that you were instantly drawn to. Sadly, Katie tragically lost her life this

week. She leaves behind her most precious love, her 17-month-old baby boy Hayes. Hayes was Katie's light and heart. She took her love for him to heights that were admirable and an example to those watching. Now Hayes only has his mother's photos that he kisses that his father shows him daily. He is too young to understand what has happened but we can imagine that his little heart

would much rather have her walking into the house giving him a real hug and kiss.

 

Saying goodbye to her has been very hard to accept, but we can say that Katie made the most of the time she had here. May she be remembered for the amazing mother, girlfriend to Dustin Vancel , daughter, and friend that she was. Let’s reflect on her

memory and look forward to the legacy she has gifted us. May Hayes be forever loved and cared for, as she was by all who adored her.
