Beloved Milla, lost way too soon.

We are a group of friends who have come together to extend our support to the family of Milla Killeen. On behalf of her parents Marty and Erin and her younger brother Harvey, we would like to reach out to their community and the wider community in hope for some additional support, to allow the Killeen family to grieve and remember their wonderful daughter and sister Milla.

Milla, at just 12 years old, was tragically taken from us on Wednesday in a horrific school bus accident which has left the entire family in disbelief. No one can come to terms with the fact that they will never see their beloved Milla again. It will and has changed the family forever. Their hearts and spirits are broken.

Milla had just started high school. She was smart and was thriving. She had talent, both artistically and in sport. She loved to draw and design things. She was excelling at basketball and enjoyed her footy. She was a passionate Geelong Cats supporter. But most importantly Milla as a person, and the young woman she was becoming, had such a beautiful soul who cared deeply for her family. She was kind. She was infectious. She was easy going and such a pleasure to be around. The bond her and her younger brother Harvey had will never be forgotten.

Our aim is to ensure Erin, Marty and Harvey have all the support they can get so that they can focus on remembering everything about Milla and working through the heaviness of their grief. For those that wish to support the family who either know the family or those that don’t, any contribution will make this process a little less burdened for them.
