BelongLex Banners All Over Downtown Lexington!
Donation protected
Help us raise $3600 to bring our message of IMMIGRANTS & REFUGEES BELONG HERE to 5 iconic locations around downtown Lexington:
- The Carnegie Center for Literacy & Learning
- The Living Arts & Science Center
- 249 Main Street (formerly Portofino)
- Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center
- Parking structure on Broadway between Main & Short Streets
We started the IMMIGRANTS & REFUGEES BELONG HERE (aka BelongLex) campaign in 2019, printing hundreds of posters & displaying them in restaurant, retail, and other business windows and doors all over town. Today we're expanding that mission in a BIG way! Our message will be printed on larger-than-life banners & hung on these 5 prominent downtown Lexington locations. Ideally, these banners will be installed in time for New Year's.
We need to raise $3600 (the cost of printing, installation, & GoFundMe fees) in order to accomplish this mission & we need YOUR HELP! Please give what you can & be a part of making Lexington the kind of city we all want to live in - a place that is welcoming & inclusive to all.
Any amount raised over our $3600 goal will be donated to KY Equal Justice Center & KY Refugee Ministries, two great organizations that work on behalf of immigrants & refugees in Lexington.
Thank you!
