Over the past two years the girls and I have been forced into the legal world in two separate court systems. Since the reasons surrounding the cause for this are very personal I cannot get into the details, however I have learned the hard truth that being in the right does not keep you safe from injustice even within systems set up to deliver "justice". I have learned that the courts are not set up in a way for judges to be given the time and resources to fully understand the evidence and history of the cases they rule over. They are rushed and deceived by manipulation and the tricks played by expensive and ruthless attorneys; perjury is rampant and unchecked. Then the Court makes rulings and judgements that strongly affect the lives of those relying on them to protect themselves and their families, especially their children. And more often, cases are being dragged out unnecessarily when the Court has the clear power to put a stop to it. The unfortunate result of the inept judicial systems now have cost my family a lot of time, money, and emotional exhaustion.

The girls and I are blessed that we have good friends who stand by and support us through the painful emotions. However since these legal issues have been allowed to go on for far too long, we are in desperate need of financial assistance. Unfortunately we are in a position where I am required to continue to fight to protect the girls. If I could end these legal issues without compromising the safety of my family, I certainly would and I am still trying. I have gone through my own and family resources available, and I am in need of ongoing support to fight for a resolution to all of this that is in the best interest of my family.

I have faith that even though the courts have so far failed us, that with my amazing attorney fighting for us and possibly the right pieces finally coming into place, the justice we deserve will be reached. I know that God has a purpose for the messy things we go through, and I pray that once we have time to heal from this that maybe we can find a way to use these experiences from the past few years to seek reform and help others.
