Hi my name is Cate and 3 years ago I decided to start a drama group for adults with learning disabilities. My son has downs syndrome and as a parent I found that there was nothing for him to do at weekends. We are self funded and currently have 12 members. We have had to move to a new venue and the money raised would help massively with the rent. All monies raised would secure the room hire for 2 months. The room is a safe, accessible space for our members and we are able to rehearse and have fun every Friday night and most importantly, they get to meet with friends
