#BeeSTRONG 2nd Brain Surgery

It's with a heavy heart I'm reaching out for help in a time of great need. Andrea "BEE" will have a 2nd brain surgery in the next few weeks.

Most of you know Bee has been in and out of Children's Hospital consistently over the past 5 years. In April 2024, she was diagnosed with epilepsy and underwent her 1st brain surgery. Unfortunately, the seizures returned in August 2024 and haven't slowed down (her latest one was on New Year's Eve). She went through "Phase I" EEG study/testing (they induce seizures for a week in the EMU) at the beginning of December, where they discovered bad tissue/remaining tumor.

On Monday, 1/13/25, she will be admitted for a week back into the EMU for "Phase II" mapping/testing/induced seizures. They will surgically implant about 15 probes in her head/skull/brain to pinpoint specific locations of the tumor and bad tissue.

Her 2nd brain surgery will follow shortly after these tests are completed.

Caring for her is a full-time job that doesn't pay. I appreciate all of you.
