Being a single mother to my 3-year-old daughter, this has been an incredibly hard season for us. We were evicted in June and have been staying in hotels while trying to get back on our feet. We have finally gotten an apartment, which is a huge step forward, but we still do not have enough money for the furniture we need, and right now we have been sleeping on the floor.

The biggest need right now is a bed for me and my daughter, along with the basic things that will make our apartment livable and feel like home. After everything we have been through, it has been stressful not being able to provide a bed for my daughter, and it is hard to feel at peace in a home that still does not feel like home. I want to be able to come home to a place where my daughter and I can rest and start to feel settled.
