Bedford Cross-County Train Crash Appeal

Donation protected
The Bedford Cross-County Train Crash Appeal is a joint initiative by Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation, Northamptonshire Community Foundation and Forever Notts Community Foundation reflecting the cross-county impact of the tragic train crash in Bedfordshire on 19th June 2026.

We are deeply saddened by the tragedy and our thoughts are with everyone affected. As local Community Foundations, we work at the heart of our communities and uplift local people through investing support into our local areas. Due to the nature of our work, we often see how our communities rally together to support one of another and this week is no exception.

The Bedford Cross-County Train Crash Appeal has been set up to raise funds to support those affected by the incident, particularly those who have been seriously injured and their families. We are aiming to raise £20,000 to support individuals experiencing serious injuries, psychological distress and hardship as a result of the incident. While this appeal will not be able to solve the life-changing impact of the incident, we hope to be able to provide some financial relief to these individuals.

The appeal has been established and is being administered with guidance from a range of partners, including the National Emergencies Trust, the Fundraising Regulator and the Charity Commission, to ensure donations are handled safely and appropriately.

If you are able to help, please consider making a donation to the appeal. Every contribution, however large or small, will help provide meaningful support to those facing the immediate and longer-term impact of this tragedy.
