Becoming Brycen's Village

On May 11, 2022, God gave Brycen to Lisa and Spencer to share with our family. We are so grateful that we have this gift.

Now, Brycen is a year old. He's an amazing little boy.

His laugh is contagious and his smile even more so!

Over the past year, many people have become part of Brycen's village.

They have showered Lisa, Spencer, and the family with love, support, and prayers.

To date, Brycen has had 3 open heart surgeries.

He is our warrior.

Unfortunately, having a medically-fragile baby means that the parents are "on duty" 24/7. Except for the occasional mention of being tired (because sometimes Brycen forgets to sleep), Lisa and Spencer do not complain about this at all.

Lisa and Spencer tag team on many of Brycen's needs, and his older sister Alisa is a great help when Spencer may not be available. That means that there are 2 adults with Brycen most of the time.

Recently, Spencer has returned to work part-time, but Lisa has not been able to go back to her job. As you can probably guess, one part-time job does not cover the same amount of needs as two full-time jobs did.

Throughout the past year, you have shown your support for Lisa, Spencer, and the family.
