Become Part of Amanda's Army

To know Amanda was to love her. She put her whole heart into whatever she did, whether it was her family, her career of helping others, her church, or her community. This fund will allow us to put the love and energy back into her family that she put out into the world throughout her entire life. Her focus throughout her fight with breast cancer was always on her family: husband Kevin, and daughters Ragan (24), Corabelle (12), and Madelyn (4).

Amanda fought every single day throughout her battle with breast cancer starting in June of 2023. Her unwavering faith was inspiring, and she often asked for specific prayers in her group “Amanda’s Army” where she kept us all updated on her journey. In her name, we ask that you please pray that God will bring comfort to her family, and allow them time and space to grieve.

In true Amanda fashion, the way she did one thing was the way she did everything. In 2023 despite her battle, she was a top producer at her company, earning an amazing vacation with Kevin to Jamaica, loved on her girls every single day, and continued to be a pillar of the community all while finishing chemo and ringing the radiation bell.

As you can imagine, we’re all working to pick up the pieces and give Kevin time to focus on the girls and their needs. Many of you in the Traveler’s Rest, SC community will recognize Kevin as the face behind “Sunset Slush of Travelers Rest with TReats Smoothies”. As the owner of a fledgling business this adds a layer of challenges to be navigated. Finances overall will be a challenge as medical bills still need to be paid and the family has lost their primary income.

Amanda spent her entire career caring for other babies as fiercely as she did her own. As a social worker and a senior recruiter of doctors to support expecting moms, she changed the lives of thousands of children. Please consider supporting her babies as they and Kevin navigate this new heart-breaking phase of their lives.
