Dear Valuable Community Members,
We invite you to join us in our fundraising efforts to celebrate the Annual Turkish Festival’s 21 year of service and 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic!
A true grassroots effort driven, organized, and financed by the community, the Annual Turkish Festival has become one of the premier cultural events in Washington, DC. “Connecting Cultures from East to West” since 2002, the annual celebration carries the title of “2011, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2019, 2022, 2023 Best Cultural Festival of DC,” awarded to the Turkish Festival by readers of the Washington City Paper!
Hosting 20,000 visitors and hundreds of vendors every year, the Festival was also home to the “Guinness World’s Record for the Longest Shish Kebab” in 2010. So, with a Guinness Record and many “Best Festival of DC” titles under its belt, the Washington, DC Turkish Festival has been a tremendous success in the past 21 years!
Our volunteer-led organization aims to continue building bridges and fostering friendship between Turkish and American people through culture, cuisine, music, dance, and arts. This year’s festival will once again showcase the rich cultural history of Türkiye, authentic Turkish cuisine and fine arts on October 15th in the heart of the capital.
Please consider making a donation to support our volunteer team in making the festival a big celebration this year!
