Becky's Sugar Shack Bakery and Café was a fun exciting place for our community to have something new and different with the idea of thinking outside the box to bring the customers new and one of a kind food, cakes and atmosphere. We were entering our 5th year, which is the most pivotal year. We were looking to expand and start implementing our next phase and adventure.
With the Covid-19 hitting us at a very important time of year for our sales and business it has made it impossible to keep our doors open and be able to sustain the bills that go along with it. We have had Catering jobs, Weddings, Holiday sales all cancelled. Loss of product and future sales. Which in turn has brought us to where we are today. Exhausting all options to get funding to help get caught up on the utilities, invoices, insurances and now needing start up costs to get inventory back in.
We are a Family ran business, where many family members have invested their own finances, time and sweat into building this business where we hoped would offer our community a place to be proud of and be able to offer jobs to individuals.
This has not only impacted our community but also 4 family livelihoods. We have all put a lot on the line to try and give Adams-Friendship something exciting and fresh to look forward to.
We are hoping that with the support of our community we can get back on our feet and reopen to provide the services we did and to be able to be connected to our customers again. The funds are needed to be able to pay our overhead, utilities, liabilities and get our shelves back restocked and products back into our production line. We are restructuring our menu and hours to help off set the reopening to make it as feasible as possible.
So, we here at Becky's Sugar Shack are asking for any help that you may be able to do. If all you can and want to do is help share this with as many of your friends or even people you may know that would love to help us out to get our doors back open please do! We appreciate any and all help you may be able to do and are open to any ideas also.
