Becky's Future Baby Bump

Donation protected

Ladies and Gentlemen, boy and girls, children of all ages; I present to you my sister Becky, her husband Scott, and the most adorable Vera Lynn.  It is my job to make you love these people. Attract you to them and this cause!  To reach into your heart and find a space for them to reside so their goals then become tethered to your humanity and your need to help others.

The truth is, that's really hard to do.  I could go on and on about how, as siblings, my sister and I were oil and water for what seemed like ever and then suddenly it just stopped.  From fighting all of the time to being social together and sharing numerous common friends.  Whatever flipped that switch has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

My sister was my best friend in a time where I felt alone, misunderstood, and out of control.  She was able to remind me about how far we'd come in life and how much more there was to experience.  We shared some traumatic experiences together and learned to lean on one another.  I would never be alone so long as there was a phone and she would always be there for me.  So now I want to be here for her in every way I possibly can be.

She is a phenomenal Aunt to my daughters and the best Mom to Vera Lynn any dog would be jealous of.  She cares deeply and with all of her heart.

Scott has always been a constant fixture in our lives, from adolescence into "Over the Hill" times.  He's what some may call an eccentric, due to his uncommon knowledge and ridiculous abilities in Trivial Pursuit, but his heart and mind are forever with my sister, Becky.  Running in the same circle of friends for so long, he and I had our fair share of adventures (none to be mentioned really ever).

His heart is unique, but large all the same.  He has the male equivalent of RBF, but melts when a doggie comes around.  He is kind and generous, but the cost is truth.  Sometimes that truth is a little sandpaper rub, but his morals, character, and integrity allow for these truths to be spoken with confidence.  I, for one, appreciate a harsh truth over a soft lie.

This now brings me to why we're here.  Scott and Becky are looking to have a child.  They have gone through some major steps, checks, and visits and their best option is In Vitro Fertilization.  A SCIENCE BABY!  Here's what you may not know about Science Babies... It's expensive.  Scott and Becky know that and they're going through this process funding it themselves.

And let me tell you, they are COMMITTED to this process.  So much has already been done medically that they are about to embark on their first collection to make a Science Baby a reality!  They are, have been, and will continue to "Foot the bill," but one unexpected cost is the medication through this process.

This is where WE come in!  The medication costs for their journey can reach upwards of $50,000.  If we can put a dent in these costs and literally have the Village help Raise this child (or children?!?) it would greatly impact this child's future and their parents financial stability.

This process is happening.  Let's take some of that stress away so we can ensure it's a successful one!  I know they will be amazing parents and I am BY FAR the BEST UNCLE TO WALK THE FACE OF THE EARTH!!!!!!!!!
