A team of 15 Bechtel employees from across the globe will be coming together in partnership with Bridges to Prosperity to build a trail bridge in remote Rwanda. During the rainy season, life can be cruel to the local communities who rely on crossing rivers to reach an array of critical resources. Rivers often remain flooded and pose great danger to anyone who may attempt crossing them.

The cost of materials, design and local labour to build the bridge itself are funded by the Bechtel Group Foundation. While the exact location and type of bridge is still to be determined, your donation will support the logistics associated with bringing this team together in early November 2025 to deliver for the community, including travel, health and safety protocols and other support resources.
