Because We Matter: Saving Animals' Lives Together

These last few years have been some of the hardest we’ve ever faced. What once was a reliable source of income to care for our animals was taken from us by a wealthy neighbor in Skagit County. Overnight, everything changed. We had no choice but to rely solely on the kindness of donors and grants to keep going.

 And because of you—we did keep going. You carried us through the hardest of times. You made it possible not only for us to survive, but to welcome and rescue even more animals who desperately needed sanctuary. We are forever grateful for the love and trust you’ve shown us.

 Now, we’re asking for your continued support to secure the future of our sanctuary. Our goal is to raise $600,000 annually through grants and donations. With your help, we can:

 • Keep our doors open wide so that animals in need of sanctuary has a safe place to land and be loved.

 • Inspire and teach young people to develop a deep appreciation for loving nature and to understand how every being plays a vital role in keeping the web of life strong.

 • Provide lifelong sanctuary to those who cannot safely return to the wild, giving them the peace, love, and dignity they deserve.

 • Bring on four more caring team members who will dedicate their days to nurturing animals and growing our education programs.
