What We Do
Beauty in Bloom is a transformative makeover and runway experience for women impacted by breast cancer. Founded with the belief that beauty practices can play a vital role in mental health and well-being, our program serves women currently undergoing treatment as well as those in remission. We recognize that a breast cancer diagnosis brings not only physical changes but also emotional challenges, including depression, anxiety, and a loss of confidence.
We provide a full-glam makeover day led by professional stylists, makeup artists, and hair professionals, followed by a public-facing showcase that celebrates their stories through photography, film, and community. Every woman participates at no cost. Every dollar comes from people who believe their stories deserve to be told.
Our Journey So Far
In 2024, we served six incredible women through our inaugural program, culminating in a sold-out runway show in Los Angeles. In 2025, we grew into a three-event season, adding a community fundraiser and a public photo exhibition themed around Redefining Femininity. A team of 30+ volunteers, stylists, photographers, therapists, and artists gave their time and talent to make it happen.
Why We Need Your Help
This October marks our third annual program. We have our team. We have our participants. The only thing standing between them and this experience is funding. Our upcoming budget covers venue costs, a professional glam team, photography and film production, exhibition materials, and a makeover kit for every woman to take home so the confidence she finds on makeover day doesn't end when she walks out the door. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference.
Your support can sponsor a full participant experience from makeover to showcase, and keep Beauty in Bloom free and open to all by funding the venue and production behind the scenes.
This Is More Than a Makeover
Breast cancer changes a woman's body, her relationship with herself, and her sense of femininity in ways that don't end when treatment does. Beauty in Bloom exists in that space — not to cover what cancer did, but to reveal the woman who is still there, still rising, still blooming.
Help us bring Beauty in Bloom back in 2026. Share this campaign, donate what you can, and help us make sure no woman has to face her reflection alone.
With gratitude,
Stephanie Bell
