Beautiful family who need some good luck

Hi, my name is Gail and I want to try and help a family of 6 through a rough time. They moved from NZ to Brisbane in January. After months of searching they finally found a rental property to start their new life. However, when they got the keys and moved their belongings in, it was evident that the property was unliveable due to various reasons, the main one being the electrics. Shipping arrived and they put it all in the garage whilst they tried to sort out all the issues with the rental agent who really didn’t take anything seriously. On Saturday night we were hit with extreme weather and when they went to check the property on Sunday morning, all of their belongings were floating in the garage. The rental company finally came and still said it was liveable and that they could move upstairs. Needless to say they didn’t. Even though they took out contents insurance, they may not get paid out as it was a new policy. The owners insurance for the building have been and said it is not safe to live there. They are currently fighting to get their bond back and rent already paid. Anything that was water damaged has had to be disposed of. The shipping costs from NZ, removal of their stuff, van hire and finding money to try and find a new rental is cripppling them. Dad works so hard for his family and mum looks after the four children. This family need a break, no one deserves so much bad luck. Let’s see if we can all come together and make their lives better. Thank you for reading xxxx
