Beautiful Baby Mira

Mira was born a month early to Austin and Ashley Pachucki and they have all been fighting together since she came into this world.  She was born with Pierre Robin a congenital abnormality that is present on the face that when the baby is born, the infant has an abnormal jaw that is smaller than the normal lower jaw, a tongue that falls back into the throat that will cause an infant to have breathing difficulties. It is also called by the medical professionals as Pierre Robin Malformation and Robin Anomalad.  This requires multiple surgery’s. Mira will have her first surgery Aug 13th.   Due to Ashley having preeclampsia she has been off work for a month prior to Mira s arrival. Mira has spent 9 of her first 15 days of life in the hospital. She was born at 36 weeks at 4lb 6oz.  in addition, she has a cleft palate that will need correcting and a tongue tie.  They will continue to have more surgery's as she gets older to correct everything.

Any donations are truly appreciated and will be helpful. Mira's August 13th surgery will adjust her jaw and help with her breathing issues. They will be in the ICU for approx a week after surgery. 

My niece Ashley is such a strong woman with an amazing husband helping her every step of the way so that they are able to watch Mira round the clock and be with her every waking moment.  

While Ashley and Austin will remember everything they will go through to help their baby girl, Mira will only remember a happy life once she is growing up without knowing the strength that has surrounded her from the day she was born.
