Dear Friends and Family of the Andujar Family,

As many of you may have heard, on Thursday, October 30th, Bear was doing what he loves most—playing football. Unfortunately during a tackle, he suffered a serious injury breaking his ankle in three places along with other related damage. He was taken to the ER and sent home in significant pain to await a surgical consultation.

By Saturday Bear’s pain had worsened, and he was rushed back to the ER. The following morning, he underwent surgery to place several screws and plates to stabilize his ankle and foot. Sadly, later that night his pain became unbearable once again. After further evaluation, doctors discovered additional complications and took him back into surgery to remove a portion of his fascia, relieving pressure and preventing further damage while his swelling subsides.

As you can imagine, this unexpected series of events has brought not only emotional and physical challenges but also significant medical expenses. Bear faces a long road to recovery, including extensive physical therapy before he can return to his active teenage life.

We would love to help ease some of the financial burden for Tara and Andy so they can focus fully on supporting Bear through his healing journey rather than worrying about mounting medical bills.
