"It's Great to be a Dog(wood)"
Inspired and led by our President, Buddy Heins, the illustrious Class of '78 has volunteered to sponsor a landscaping project at Bearden High School. We’re going to plant 78 beautiful dogwood trees around the Bearden campus this fall in addition to renovating the old smoking pit (now used as outside classroom). We’d like to raise the funding to pay for the trees and other plant material. The trees will cost $25 each, which includes delivery, planting, etc.
We are issuing a challenge for everyone to buy at least one tree. Any excess funds will go to help maintain our sign at the school. The sign is still an iconic image at the school that has stood the test of time and is still the most widely recognized class gift on campus.
Thank you for your support! The Class of 78 remains the best class ever at Bearden!
